Celebrating the King James Bible
The RSCM has published a special service to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible in 2011.
The Word Revealed is an ideal resource for churches or choirs.
There is still time to enter the King James Bible Composition Awards – the deadline is 31 January 2011.
A new partnership for learning
The RSCM is delighted to announce a new Foundation Degree in Church Music in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University. Students will benefit from CCCU's excellent facilities and specialism in church music, as well as support at local level from the RSCM. They may opt to study full-time or part-time.

Hymn-writing bishop among those to be honoured by the RSCM
Timothy Dudley-Smith, writer of over 300 published hymns, is among those to be honoured by the RSCM. Several leading organists and church musicians around the world will also receive RSCM awards at a special service in Peterborough Cathedral next May. See our press release for a full list of awards.
Voice for Life news
Free to download, the next edition of Voice for Life Gold Dust will include Epiphany resources, training ideas and puzzles for choir leaders and your singers. Sign up to be notified when Gold Dust is published.
The RSCM's 2011 Young Voices Festival is called Water of Life. It is a flexible resource for school and church choirs on the theme of water. More about Young Voices Festivals.
Book now for RSCM courses in 2011
Places are still available on the 2011 Skills training days for church musicians, run in partnership with abcd and RCO. The next workshop takes place on Saturday 19 February 2011 in Leeds.
The RSCM's residential spring courses provide inspiring training, music-making, fun and friendship for young people and church organists.
