RSCM

May 2010

Dear friend,

It is always good to join with others to worship and make music. At the RSCM we look forward to our international Celebration Day on Saturday, while Music Sunday is an ideal opportunity for musicians in local churches and communities to get together. You'll find details below, along with the latest news from the RSCM and the wider world of church music.

There is still time to take part in a worldwide celebration of music and musicians on (or near) Sunday 13 June 2010.

Planning ahead?
Next year Music Sunday will be on 26 June 2011.
You can help us set the date for 2012.

Celebration Day 2010

Aled Jones, Cynthia DeDakis and Professor Jeremy Dibble are among those to be honoured by the RSCM at Celebration Day on Saturday at Durham Cathedral. The music will be led by a massed choir from RSCM-affiliated churches in the region. The service is being recorded by the BBC for Songs of Praise on 18 July.
